A liquid crystal display device is provided to control the viewing angle by turn on/off TFT of a white sub pixel. A first, a second(210), and a third substrates(220) are piled in order. A thin film transistor is formed on the first substrate. A black matrix(212) is formed on the border of each sub pixel. Color filter layers(214c, 214d) are formed in the each sub pixel of the second top of the substrate. A barrier layer(222) is formed in the white sub-pixel region of the third top of the substrate.
