An induction loop system (10) includes an induction coil (12), a position sensor (14) and a controller (16). The induction coil (12) is configured to generate magnetic fields representative of an input signal (18) and is intended to induce a corresponding signal in a hearing aid with a 'T' coil (not shown). The position sensor (14) is configured to sense the position of a hearing aid user relative to the induction coil (12). The controller (16) modulates the input signal (18) based upon positional information determined by the position sensor (14) in order to compensate for the position of the hearing aid user relative to the induction coil (12). |
