<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system which continues a copying process by the alteration of a copy mode even in case where a copying operation is interrupted after read document image data is stored in an image data storage means together with copy mode information. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming system 1 performs a copying process in which image data obtained by reading the image of a document with an image reader 20 is once stored in the HDD of IPU 22 based upon a specified copy mode and then a color image is recorded and output on paper by an image forming device 10. The image forming system 1 stores the image data read by the image reader 20 into the HDD together with the specified copy mode, and when the copying process cannot be performed due to the copy mode, the alteration of the copy mode is allowed to continue the copying process according to the alteration of the copy mode. Thus, the copying process can be resumed without avoiding copying disapproval requirement and usability can be appropriately improved at low costs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
