<p>A confectionery product package includes a binding and a plurality of packets each connected to the binding by a tear strip, wherein each individual packet holds confectionery product. The package may include at least three identical packets connected to the binding by the tear strip. The binding may be a separate structure to which each packet is connected, or made by binding portions of the packets together. Each packet may have a front surface, a back surface, a first side and an opening for removing the confectionery product from the packet, with the packets connected together adjacent their first sides and the packets arranged such that the front surface of the second packet overlies the back surface of the first packet. The opening of each packet may be oriented in the same direction with respect to the remainder of the packets in the package. The packets may be formed from a flexible material shaped into a pouch to form a product enclosure region. The pouch may have at least one side formed by sealing the flexible materia] together at that side, and an extension extending outwardly on that side, A weakened section may cross the extension, leaving a detachable portion of the extension outward of the weakened section, with the plurality of packets being bound together using their respective detachable portions.</p> |
