A humidifier for a fuel cell is provided to allow precise control of the humidifying degree by preheating gases and water, to increase heat efficiency during the preheating, and to enable accurate detection of humidity. A humidifier for a fuel cell comprises: a heater(30) to which a water supply line linked to a water supplying unit(10) and a gas supply line linked to a gas supplying unit(20) are connected and having a heating unit; an evaporator(40) having a vapor inlet(40b) through which a vapor generated by heating water in the heater is introduced, and a gas inlet through which a gas heated in the heater is introduced, and a humidified gas discharging line(48) for supplying a mixed and humidified gas obtained from the vapor and gas to a fuel cell main body; and a controller(50) for controlling the temperatures of the heater and the evaporator in such a manner that the gas humidification degree in the evaporator is a predetermined humidification degree. |
