<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rise of water temperature at a bottom portion of a hot water storage tank and to perform a heat pump hot water supplying operation with high energy efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump hot water supply device is provided with a compressor 31, a heat exchanger 32 for hot water supply, a throttle device 33 and an evaporator 34, a three-way valve 44 is controlled to communicate the heat exchanger 32 for hot water supply and a hot water return port 45 at a top portion of the hot water storage tank 41 in performing a defrosting operation and restarting a hot water supplying operation after the termination of the defrosting operation, thus the rise of water temperature at the bottom portion of the hot water storage tank 41 can be prevented, and the heat pump hot water supply device can be operated with high efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
