<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase interpolator for regulating a minute phase to be programmable, regardless of the process conditions, power supply voltage, and temperature variations. <P>SOLUTION: A clock of irregular interval is inputted to the feedback signal (FBCLK) of a PLL circuit, and a minute phase difference is given between a reference signal REFCLK and the feedback signal FBCLK by the essential phase matching function of the PLL circuit. Furthermore, a phase difference free from the process conditions, power supply voltage, and temperature dependency is achieved by using a charge pump (CP) circuit where the up and down currents are equal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
