<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock device for a vehicle, which prevents the fluctuation of an operating physical force of an operating means and a movement stroke of a lever to be operated, even if a turning arm is fitted into any one of a plurality of engaging portions. <P>SOLUTION: The plurality of engaging portions, which enable a turning arm 24 to be engaged with a key lever 15 held in a door lock body 8 so as to make a linear motion to a locking or unlocking position, are provided in such a manner as to be arranged in the moving direction of the key lever 15. The turning arm 24 is turned on an axis crossing the moving direction of the key lever 15, so as to move the key lever 15 to the locking or unlocking position. A noncircular operating shaft, which is elongated out into the door from a key cylinder device mounted on the outside-of-vehicle side surface of the door, is fitted into a noncircular hole 25 which is provided in the turning center section of the turning arm 24 engaged with any one of the engaging portions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
