PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning tape having a cleaning part and an observation window, and a cleaning device using the cleaning tape regarding cleaning of a junction end surface of an optical connector. SOLUTION: The cleaning tape is provided with: the cleaning part which contacts the junction end surface of the optical connector, slides to perform cleaning; and the observation window which observes the junction end surface before and after the cleaning.
