PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing a carbonyl compound in an oil which can analyze the minute quantity of the carbonyl compound even if the oil is imperfectly removed. SOLUTION: After the oil is reacted to the carbonyl compound and a hydrazine by a known technology and a hydrazone derivative is created, the hydrazone derivative is analyzed by a gas chromatography mass analyzer. When three fragment ion peaks including a molecular ion peak of the hydrazone are simultaneously detected, the carbonyl compound is detected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
