PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming sash which improves an interior appearance by preventing the exposure of an existing sash etc. on an indoor side by means of a simple structure, and which exerts an excellent heat-insulating effect. SOLUTION: In this reforming sash, a base frame C, which comprises upper and lower base materials 40 and 41 and vertical base materials 42, is fixed inside the dust flushable existing sash A which is provided in the window opening 1 of the building; and a new sash B is fixed inside the base frame C. An indoor casing 58 made a synthetic resin, which covers a section between the lower base material 41 of the base frame and the floor surface from the indoor side, is mounted on the indoor-side floor surface 79 of the window opening 1; and a reinforcing core material 86 made of a metal is provided inside the indoor casing 58.
