PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the exposure of an existing sash etc. on an outdoor side by a simple structure. SOLUTION: In the reforming sash, base materials 40, 41 and 42 are fixed inside the existing sash A which is provided in the window opening 1 of the building; and a new sash B is fixed inside the base materials. Characteristically, indoor casings 57, 58 and 59 made of a synthetic resin, which covers a base frame C and the existing sash A from the indoor side, are mounted on the peripheral edge materials 9, 10 and 11 of the window opening 1, respectively. Preferably, a resin angle is protrusively formed on the indoor side at the indoor side end of the sill of the new sash B; resin blocks are arranged below the resin angle 27; and the indoor casings 57, 58 and 59 are joined to the resin blocks 37a, 37b and 37c, respectively.
