PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing superior in lubricity, with low torque and little heating even when used under high speed rotation. SOLUTION: A deep groove ball bearing has an inner race 1, an outer race 2, a plurality of rolling bodies 3 and a lubricant 5. A substantially doglegged microscopic groove 10 is formed in large numbers on a raceway surface 1a of the inner race 1 and a raceway surface 2a of the outer race 2, and is also covered with an oil repellent coating film 7 composed of an oil repellent agent. The microscopic groove 10 turns in the moving direction when the rolling bodies 3 roll, on the projection side of a bending part 10a of the substantial center, and is mutually juxtaposed at an equal interval in parallel in the moving direction when the rolling bodies 3 roll. A contact angle between the oil repellent coating film 7 and the lubricant 5 is set to 50°to 160°. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
