PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor device capable of confirming the situation of an appropriate range of back seats when necessary by a driver of a traveling vehicle. SOLUTION: When a child rides in a seat in the second row or the third row, the position where the child is seated is determined (S502: Yes), and an image in the vicinity of the seating position of the child is displayed on a display provided before a driver seat (S506). When the child riding in the seat in the second row or the third row gets off the vehicle (S502: No), the display of the image in the vicinity of the seating position of the child is stopped (S508).
