PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank for a vehicle of a simple constitution capable of smoothly injecting fuel in both right and left fuel chambers of a saddle-shaped fuel tank by suppressing the height of a saddle-shaped part low and avoiding a malfunction of a liquid-level height detection means. SOLUTION: This fuel tank 10 for the vehicle is constituted by forming a bottom surface top 12b of the saddle-shaped part 22 in a circular arc shape as seen from a cross-section and arranging a float valve 42 to detect the liquid-level height of liquid fuel to be reserved so that a central part P is positioned so as to be offset to the side of the supplementary chamber 24 from the bottom surface top 12b of the saddle-shaped part 22, in the saddle-shaped fuel tank 11 the inside of which is divided right and left by forming the saddle-shaped part 22 by making a central part 12a of a tank bottom surface 12 and a central part 13a of a tank upper surface 13 project upward and partitioning the main chamber 23 to which a filler pipe 31 is connected and the supplementary chamber 24.
