[PROBLEMS] To provide an operating system to which a rule deciding whether a system call process (called by an application formed by a plurality of programs including a library program) is enabled can be applied. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An operating system correlates an address in a memory containing a program to the program and stores it as an address range set. Upon start of an application, the operating system loads each of programs onto a memory and causes address range set storage means to store the address range set. The operating system receives a system call from the application, executes various processes, stores an operation rule which describes whether the system call by programs constituting the application is enabled, and decides whether to execute the process called by the system call processing means, according to the operation rule corresponding to the program of the system call source.
