<p>To obtain cut and turned up sections having few burrs. A fin (1) for a heat exchanger has cut and turned up sections (12) each formed by cutting and turning up a part of the fin. An edge (121) of each cut and turned up section (12) has first portions (1211 to 1213) extending straight and second portions (1214, 1215). The first portions (1211 to 1213) are arranged in this order around a cut and turned up section (12). The second portion (1214) smoothly joins the adjacent first portions (1211, 1212) together around the cut and turned up section (12). In the same manner, the second portion (1215) smoothly joins the adjacent first portions (1212, 1213) together.</p>
