A device for preventing cable TV broadcasting from being illegally watched is provided to simplify the structure of a protection case and integrate the protection case with a band pass filter to combine the band pass filter with a terminal of a terminal plate through a one-time process. A device for preventing cable TV broadcasting from being illegally watched includes a protection case(20) in the form of a tube with open ends and a band pass filter(30) inserted into the protection case. One end of the band pass filter is connected to a terminal(115) of a terminal plate(110) included in a distributor(100) of a CATV system and the other end is connected with a coaxial cable(45). A protrusion is formed at one end of the protection case and bent inward. The band pass filter has a terminal combining part(35) combined with the terminal through a screw. The terminal combining part is fixed by the protrusion of the protection case.
