<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing system which enables easy machining and assembling work and has excellent sealing performance. <P>SOLUTION: In the sealing system, a dust seal 10 is constituted of a first dust seal 100 having a metal ring 11 and a seal body 12 integrally provided to the metal ring 11 and a second dust seal 20 provided to the atmospheric side from the first dust seal 10. The second dust seal 20 includes a cut part only in a circumferential part and allows deformation of the clearance between cut ends of the cut part so as to be not smaller than the diameter of a shaft 300, and formed of a material (urethane rubber) having flexibility and elastic resilience of a degree such that deformation is restored to the original shape by removing external force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
