<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program, an apparatus, and a method, for facilitating operation and early leaning of operation of an electronic chart, and for directing operation of the electronic chart performed by a user. <P>SOLUTION: As a specific disease name is input into the electronic chart, an input tool activation order table is referred to which includes an input tool name of an input tool for inputting information into an electronic chart that has been activated in the past according to the specific disease name, and a frequency that the input tool has been activated. Then, a plurality of input tools of larger frequency among referred input tool names is activated.
