<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lamp capable of controlling diffused light distribution precisely. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular lamp 1 comprises: a light source 2 comprising a semiconductor light-emitting element; and a lens 3 for diffusing or widening light from the light source 2 for applying to the front of the lamp. In the vehicular lamp, when an angle formed by light emitted from the lens 3 and an optical axis Z of the lens 3 is called an angle of emergence θ, an emission surface 32 of the lens 3 comprises a prescribed free curved surface at least partially.
