<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide economical equipment matching to Japanese housing conditions, efficiently utilizing hot water in a plurality of hot water storage tanks connected in series to one another for reheating a bath. <P>SOLUTION: This storage type hot water supply device comprises a hot water heat exchanger 25 using hot water in a tapping side hot water storage tank 6 located on the most downstream side of the plurality of hot water storage tanks storing hot water heated by a heating means 8 and connected in series to one another, for heating bathtub water, a bath circulation pump 23 for circulating bathtub water in the hot water heat exchanger 25, and a water supply side hot water storage tank 2 located on the most upstream side of the plurality of hot water storage tanks and connected to a water supply pipe 3, wherein the hot water heat-exchanged with the hot water heat exchanger 25 is guided into the water supply side hot water storage tank 2 so that high-temperature hot water can be reliably supplied into the tapping side hot water storage tank 6.
