<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument which reliably transmits drive force to open and close the treatment instrument and transmits direct operation feeling from the distal end treatment instrument while attaining high rigidity and flexible curvature, and is excellent in the operability. <P>SOLUTION: In the treatment instrument, an inner packaging member 18 is inserted inside a flexible outer packaging member 17 in a manner to advance and retreat in the direction of an axis of the outer packaging member, and a pair of forceps pieces 5b disposed at the distal end part of an outer packaging member in a manner to open and close are driven to open and close by operating to advance and retract the inner packaging member by an operational part 3 coupled to a proximal end of the outer packaging member. The outer packaging member is formed to impart rotational transmitting force in both directions around the axis over the entire length by overlapping a coil spring 31 wound in the close contact in different directions at least doubly. The outer packaging member and the operational part are connected rotatably and relatively about the axis, and a rotation operational member 20 for operating to rotate the outer packaging member about the axis is provided on a member on the side of the outer packaging member of the joint. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
