<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device which inexpensively efficiently functions and also maintains performance. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device 30 is provided with: an exhaust passage in which exhaust emission flows; first and second NOx storage catalysts 32b, 34b which are stored in the exhaust passage and accelerate detoxification of NOx in exhaust emission; a temperature sensor 38 which is stored in the exhaust passage and detects temperature in the exhaust passage; a second injector 37 which is arranged in the exhaust passage and injects fuel used for the operation of the first and second NOx storage catalysts 32b, 34b toward the temperature sensor 38; and an ECU 39 which detects the operation of the second injector based on the detected results of the temperature sensor 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
