PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect an interface of an object to be measured such as liquid. SOLUTION: The optical sensor system in a liquid treatment apparatus is provided with a device for projecting light on at least one illumination position in a space, at least one device for imaging at least one illumination position by at least one light receiving element so as to output a measurement signal depending on the received light, and/or an analyzing device including a plurality of light receiving elements and connected to at least one light receiving element to analyze at least one measurement signal, wherein the light projecting device simultaneously projects light on a plurality of illumination positions, and/or simultaneously projects light at a different angle on a same illumination position.
