<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein first printing is delayed in air feeding because it takes time to be ready for operation, and on the other hand, roll feeding can not cope with the highest speed of a printer engine sometimes in the case of continuous feeding. <P>SOLUTION: In a case where it is determined that a first feeding unit is not ready to feed upon designation of a first print job that requires air feeding, start of the first print job is made to wait until the first feeding unit is ready to feed. In a case where a second print job 2 that requires roller feeding is accepted during waiting for the first print job (S6), the second print job is executed (S7), and after completing the second print job (S8), the first print job that requires air feeding is executed (S3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
