<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake capable of reducing the number of used electric motors. <P>SOLUTION: This electric brake is equipped with: a plurality of rotating brake disks 6 rotating with a wheel; a non-rotating brake disk supported non-rotatably and displaceably toward the rotating brake disk 6; a plurality of pistons 1-4 opposing the one non-rotating brake disk 9; ball screws 15 rotatably connected to the pistons 1-4; a ball screw/nut mechanism for allowing the piston 1 to proceed/retreat with respect to the non-rotating brake disk 9 by rotation of the ball screws 15; an electric motor 11 for rotatingly driving the ball screws 15; and a motor rotation transmitting mechanism 10 for transmitting the rotation of the electric motor 11 to the plurality of ball screws 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
