PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the manufacturing process of a rotor of a rotary electric machine with a cooling structure. SOLUTION: A rotor core 2 of the rotary electric machine is configured by laminating electromagnetic steel plates 2A and non-magnetic plates 2B-2D. A permanent magnet 21 is housed in the laminated electromagnetic steel plates 2A. Slits 6a, 7a, 8a are formed on the non-magnetic plates 2B, 2C, 2D, respectively. By laminating the non-magnetic plates 2B-2D adjacently to each other, the slits 6a, 7a, 8a communicate, and a coolant flow passage for allowing a coolant to flow is formed.
