PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator and an optical equipment which can change how to give a proper view of a display part, according to the viewing direction, when the display part is viewed from a plurality of directions. SOLUTION: The indicator 15 comprises an incident surface 25 for receiving a light 16 irradiated from a light-emitting device 17, an emitting surface 21 formed along a face intersecting with the incident surface 25, and a reflecting surface 24 intersecting with the incident surface 25 and the-emitting surface 21 and having a reflectance higher than that of a smooth surface.
