METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HUB UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a hub unit preventing formation of a pseudo indentation of a raceway surface by preventing fretting wear due to vibration during transportation or the like especially under a low temperature condition. SOLUTION: A first lubricant layer 46 formed by first lubricant 41 and a second lubricant layer 47 formed by second lubricant 42 having low fluidity than the first lubricant 41 are formed on the raceway surface 22 or rolling elements 27. Fretting wear is prevented by the first lubricant 41 and wear during travel of a vehicle is prevented by the second lubricant 42. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
