PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a modified conjugated diolefin copolymerized rubber difficult to gel during storage, namely good in storage stability, and to provide a modified conjugated diolefin copolymerized rubber. SOLUTION: This method for producing the modified conjugated diolefin copolymerized rubber comprises obtaining a conjugated diolefin copolymerized rubber, reacting the obtained conjugated diolefin copolymerized rubber with a compound having at least two isocyanate groups to obtain the primary modified conjugated diolefin copolymerized rubber, and then reacting the obtained primary modified conjugated diolefin copolymerized rubber with a hydroxyl group-having compound to obtain the secondary modified conjugated diolefin copolymerized rubber.
