A frontloading washer is provided to reduce dehydration time by reducing translational vibration and rotational vibration and to detect rotational vibration earlier than resonance vibration by installing plural acceleration sensors at a tub. A frontloading washer comprises a drum, a tub, and at least two acceleration sensors(30). The at least two acceleration sensors are installed on a side surface of the tub, and counts vibration of the tub and measures the degree of unbalance by using the sum of translational vibration and rotational vibration. The acceleration sensors have measuring devices(35a,35b), band pass filters(32a,32b), and first and second adding/subtracting machines(33a,36). The measuring devices detect vibration of the tub. The band pass filters input the measured acceleration value as a certain frequency. The first and second adding/subtracting machines compute the sum or a difference between values passing through the band pass filters. |
