A kitchen dispenser is provided for storing and dispensing dry goods. The kitchen dispenser includes a canister and a moveable dispensing mechanism. The canister includes a top portion and a bottom opposing portion. The canister receives dry goods through the top portion and retains the dry goods within the canister. The movable dispensing mechanism is coupled to the bottom portion of the canister. The dispensing mechanism comprises a variable measurement device and is moveable between three positions. The three positions include a neutral position, a filling position and a dispensing position. The variable measurement device includes a range of measurements of one-fourth cup to one cup.
