<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a hybrid vehicle more, which can automatically cruise as specified and optically select one of a plurality of drive modes, to automatically cruse more suitably. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid vehicle 20 has a flag Fpmc set to a value 1 and a flag Fpm set to a value 0 (S540, S550), and is inhibited to use a map for power-mode time accelerator opening degree setting during an automatic cruise when an accelerator opening degree Acc is less than a predetermined opening degree Accref on condition in the case that a power mode is selected for the automatic cruise.
