<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently obtain a contrast and a display dynamic range for a light emitting device having a plurality of light emitting devices differing in current efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device includes pluralities of R pixels 5, G pixels 6 and B pixels 7 comprising R, G, and B light emitting elements differing in current efficiency, and a voltage-current converter 2 for R pixel, a voltage-current converter 3 for G pixel and a voltage-current converter 4 for B pixel. The voltage-current converters 2 to 4 each have a transistor T1 for voltage-current conversion, a gate potential setting circuit which sets the gate of the transistor T1 for voltage-current conversion to a first potential V1. The voltage-current convertor 3 for G pixel has a setting transistor T4 for setting a source for a transistor T1 for voltage-current conversion to the second potential V4 and an adjusting means (Vin4) of adjusting the second potential V2. The second potential V2 is different from a potential V3 at a terminal connected to the gate of the transistor T1 for voltage-current conversion through a holding capacitor C2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
