<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration transmission from an iron core to a container and also to reduce vibration transmission caused by propagation in a liquid, thereby reducing noise of a transformer. <P>SOLUTION: The transformer T1 includes the iron core 2 and winding 4 wound around the core which are placed in an electrically insulating oil C, wherein the oil and the iron core with the winding are accommodated in a tank 10. The iron core is supported on a tank bottom plate 11 via an anti-vibration mechanism 6.
