<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seamed belt causing an improved seam surface shape (topology). <P>SOLUTION: A post processing process of the seamed belt includes a step that the seamed belt having a seam extending to the other parallel end part from one parallel end part is prepared; the seam has a seam area including superimposition of two opposed end parts; the seamed belt is arranged on a round anvil; an end part of the seam area is made to exist on the apex of the round anvil; the end part of the seam area is brought into contact with a planer blade; the planer blade is lifted to an end part of the seam; a material is removed from the end part of the seam area by continuous cutting; and the flexible belt brought about as a result, has a smooth welded seam. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
