PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolant intrusion prevention device of a film lapping device capable of preventing side plates from being worn, and a pivot shaft from being damaged, since a coolant and chips are prevented from intruding between opening/closing arms and a module body even if the coolant discharged from a coolant supply nozzle during the film lapping is spattered, in the film lapping device in which the pair of opening/closing arms supporting shoe assemblies and an arm opening/closing device fitted to the opening/closing arm are assembled together. SOLUTION: This coolant intrusion prevention device comprises: the pair of opening/closing arms 6 openably supported on the module body 21; the shoe assemblies 5 supported on the opening/closing arms 6, respectively, and a clamp cylinder 7 for opening and closing the arms of the opening/closing arms 6. An arm module 20 is assembled, as an integrally replaceable module, into a machine body 1. An air curtain jet port 51 for forming an air curtain 50 between the machine body 1 and each shoe assembly 5 is formed in the front upper surface of the machine body 1.
