PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily output an image corrected as a user desires. SOLUTION: When correction is applied to image data, a correction content description image with the content of correction to be applied to the image described therein is read. The image corresponds to the correction content description image, and the content of correction to be applied to the image is described in the correction content description image. When the correction content description image is read, the image data are corrected according to the correction content described there. Hence, correction having the same content as the image corresponding to the correction content description image is applied to the image data, thus the users selects an image having the desired correction and the correction content description image, is read, so that the users can apply the same correction to their own image data as desired, and hence the image data corrected as the user desires can be easily output.
