PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control device of an internal combustion engine, which of prevents the deterioration in operability, even if octane value varies in a wide range in fuel supplied to the internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: An operable engine load is set and controlled by avoiding knocking and a misfire, based on: a result of detecting a fuel residual quantity in a secondary fuel tank 14a for storing high octane value fuel (low self-ignitable fuel) provided by reforming by a fuel reformer 13a by a residual quantity sensor 15a, a result of detecting a fuel residual quantity in a secondary fuel tank 14b for storing low octane value fuel (high self-ignitable fuel) provided by reforming by a fuel reformer 13b by a residual quantity sensor 15b, and request output calculated from accelerator opening.
