METHOD FOR DETERMINING AND DISPLAYING POSITION OF TRUCK DURING MATERIAL TRANSFER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining and displaying the position of a truck loaded with an earth and sand moving machine located in the work field. SOLUTION: The method is provided for determining and displaying the correlative position of the truck when loaded with sediment by the sediment moving machine. The method includes receiving a loading event signal and determining the correlative position of the truck in response to the signal. The correlative position is displayed relative to the work field. Alternatively, a method is provided for determining and displaying productivity information regarding material excavated by the sediment moving machine and loaded into the truck. The method includes determining the bucket load material type of the material loaded in a bucket.
