PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail travelling wheel of an inexpensive and lightweight constitution, which is highly versatile by facilitating easy common application in different using conditions. SOLUTION: The rail travelling wheel comprises a wheel body 10 in which a flange 11, a rail tread 15 and an adaptor housing part 13 are integrally formed, and an adaptor 2 having a journal structure to an axle 5 and arranged to be fitted into the adaptor housing part 13. According to this structure, many kinds of wheels having different design specifications can be easily obtained by freely designing the adaptor 2 according to the purpose, use conditions or the like of the wheel 1 without being limited by the forming material or the like of the wheel body 10. Thus, the wheel 1 can be used in common and can enhance its versatility, leading to a lower cost, compared to a conventional integrally-structured wheel, for example, which requires alteration of the wheel structure when the design specification is changed.
