PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal separator which can prevent erroneous setting, is excellent in visibility and reliability and has a simple panel part. SOLUTION: The centrifugal separator is provided with a rotor which stores a sample to be centrifuged and an operation panel part 7 which displays the setting of rotation speed of the rotor or centrifuge acceleration and the present driving state, and one of figure display parts 7a of the operation panel part 7, and comprises a first changeover means which switches the rotation speed or the centrifuge acceleration to display the switched rotation speed or centrifuge acceleration and a second changeover means which switches at least two colors of letters displayed on the figure display parts from a plurality of different colors thereof and can display the switched letter colors, wherein figures displayed on the figure display parts 7a are displayed, in the rotation speed, with letter colors different from the letter color in the centrifuge acceleration.
