<p>An apparatus and method for displaying an animation menu. The method includes that, providing a TV, a digital TV set-top box and a remote controller as the apparatus for displaying the animation menu, wherein the apparatus is programmed to store the whole animation menu(including the menu content and page action) as a sequence in a database, and the part or all of the sequence is selected to display the menu content(for instance, image, title, amount and price of product) data when turning the animation menu page. The apparatus allows the animation menu to reproduce an action effect of turning paper menu page in a screen, allows the animation menu to enable users to view, order dishes and use other functions in text, image, symbol, list, animation, video and sound form, and improves usage functionality and value of TV as existing resource device in catering and tourism field so that environmental protection purpose of the menu digitization and non-paper is realized.</p> |
