<p>The tip side of a tube hole (59) of a body fitting is protruded forward in the direction of an axis (O) to form a peripheral wall extension section (57). The peripheral wall extension section (57) has protrusions (570-572) and a connection sections (574) for connecting between the protrusions (570-572). Fuel injected from an injection opening (221) of an injector (220) collides with the protrusion (570) and is less possible to directly reach a spark discharge gap between a noble metal tip (90) and the tip (31) of a ground electrode (30). Fuel not colliding with the protrusion (570) collides with the protrusions (571, 572), that portion of the fuel which is not yet vaporized and is in the form of liquid droplets adheres to the protrusions (571, 572), and vaporized fuel is separated and reflected around the spark discharge gap.</p> |
