<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface circuit and a signal output adjustment method for adjusting an amplitude of a signal on the transmission side by considering an attenuation amount of a transmission path. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission side circuit part of the interface circuit 100 transmits, at test time, a repeating signal 111 of a fixed amplitude to a transmission path 123 via an output buffer circuit 117 comprising a CML circuit. A reception side circuit part 102 obtains an amplitude of an input signal 131 thereof by comparing the amplitude between a plurality of reference voltage Vref<SB>1</SB>to Vref<SB>n</SB>and comparators 132<SB>1</SB>to 132<SB>n</SB>by a determination circuit 135.
