The game machine obtains the intersection 96 of the straight line 94 between the first moving target position and a second moving target position (position 64), and the border line of the predetermined region. The game machine moves the moving body character in parallel with the direction from the intersection 92 to the intersection 96 when the moving body character reaches a region the distance from which to the intersection 92 is not more than a first standard distance.
