<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer which offers fine external electrode fixing strength and is highly efficient, and a manufacturing method for the piezoelectric transformer. <P>SOLUTION: When electrode paste is printed by screen printing on a piezoelectric ceramic green sheet 1 to form a primary internal electrode 2 and a secondary internal electrode 12, an outlet area for the internal electrode 2 exposed on a long side face of piezoelectric ceramic green sheet 1a and 1b is kept small. Thus, the total outlet area for the internal electrode 2 exposed on the long side face of a lamination composed of a plurality of divided pieces of the piezoelectric ceramic green sheet 1 is determined to be 0.3 to 5% of the total area of an external electrode 3 formed to cover the internal electrode 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
