<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform direct printing with respect to an image forming apparatus, a direct print utility program, and a storage device. <P>SOLUTION: When a PDL conversion program is stored in an external storage device 30 connected to a connection terminal 23 of a printer 20, the PDL conversion program stored in the external storage device 30 is executed to convert a print file stored in the external storage device 30 into image data (rasterized data) and to print the image data. Consequently, even when the printer to which the external storage device 30 is connected is not adaptive to the print file (specific PDL form) stored in the external storage device 30, direct printing can easily be performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
