PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source for scanner in which reflected light that has been emitted from two electroluminescence elements and reflected can be efficiently received on a sensor unit of a scanner and which can be easily assembled to the scanner. SOLUTION: The light source 11 for scanner is equipped with a printed-circuit board 12 and two organic EL elements 13 mounted on the printed-circuit board 12. Both the organic EL elements 13 are formed in a band-like shape and are arranged in parallel. Between two organic EL elements 13, the printed-circuit board 12 is provided with a reflected light transmitting section 14 transmitting the reflected light of the organic EL elements 13. The reflected light transmitting section 14 is formed into an elongated rectangular hole.
